Welcome to the home of our CoBi (Conference Bike)

Our incredibly unique and great fun 7 person cycle.

You might have seen some crazy vehicles but we are guessing you haven't seen one quite like this.

So what is a CoBi and what does it do?

One cycle, 7 people

Our cycle is such a brilliant machine. When we mention 7 person cycle to anyone, their first thoughts are of a very long tandem where everyone sits in a line. That's so last year!!

On our cycle, 7 people sit in a circle and gently pedal it along via some very clever gearing. Only the driver faces the road straight on. everyone else sits either sideways or backwards. It is not a speed machine, rolling along at a comfortable 8mph (though we have had it up to 48mph but that's another story).

Our cycle has completed John O'Groats to Lands End, twice and holds a Guinness World Record. It has been cycled from London to Paris, completed the London to Brighton cycle ride numerous times. It has completed the South Downs Road route, completed the London to Cambridge ride and been ridden 100 miles from Devon to Cornwall as part of a Scouts fundraiser. It has been part of the London Mayor's Parade too. Its been a wedding limousine, a hen do cycle, a graduation vehicle. It’s been on the TV show ‘New Tricks’  and was part of a televised game show. We really have done a lot with it.

We have owned our CoBi cycle since 2012 and in that time we have helped numerous charities raise much needed funds for their causes. Through personal and corporate fundraising, over £340,000 has been raised. That's a lot money and we are very proud to have been part of it.

This unique CoBi is owned by Paul and James, 2 friends and Cub Scout Leaders in Essex. When it's not raising funds for other charities and good causes, we use it to raise funds for our own Cub pack to help provide a great programme and subsidise events for the children attending each week.

Interested in our cycle?

As you will have already gathered, we don't just use our cycle in Essex. It goes all over the country and aboard, towed behind a car on its own special trailer. If you have the location, we can provide our cycle.
